Download FlyerThis is a free Saturday learning and activities series at the Kalpulli Izkalli from 10:00am – 2:00pm for youth ages 7-14. The Calmecac Nahui Ollin is a summer youth program created to enhance children and youth's understanding of the interconnection between Mother Earth, ourselves and all living things. The program includes learning through hands-on activities such as herb walks, soap-making, gardening, nutrition, cooking and lots of fun and games. This year the pilot program "Young Scholars for Health and Environmental Justice" will participate in the Calmecac Nahui Ollin as interns to Kalpulli Izkalli.
Parents please arrive by 9:45 on Saturday, June 4, to register and sign travel and media forms. Lunch and drinks will be provided.
